AT&T and HRC Introduce Scholarship Contest for LGBTQ+ College Students (News Release)

Overview

In 2015, AT&T was in the midst of reinvigorating its commitment to increased transparency in their diversity and inclusion efforts, particularly as the company began its metamorphosis from “Ma Bell” into a bona fide entertainment/media powerhouse. As such, the company’s Diversity & Inclusion team was excited to engage the Multicultural Public Relations team to develop and execute a strategy that would promote the gains the company had made in diversifying its workforce, leadership, STEM career opportunities, and other important areas. The news release was an integral part of a broader, more holistic communications strategy that leveraged PR, internal communications, social media, and more.
